Crosslands cottage is a traditional 17th century Lakeland cottage. It is situated in the hamlet of Crosslands, in the beautiful unspoilt valley of Rusland. It boasts extensive views across the valley over the field and beyond to the mountains near Ambleside. Although it is a secluded hideaway it is within easy reach of all tourist attractions within the Lake district and the Furness peninsular, also many walks, bike rides, trekking, the forest & the lakeland hills. |

The cottage sits in its own garden with patio area, garden furniture & barbeque are available. Inside there is a cosy lounge with log fire & original oak beams where it is ideal to spent the evenings after a good walk or bike ride. Adjacent to this room there is a dining area and also a well equipped fitted kitchen, the view from the kitchen window looks across the valley. Also downstairs there is a bathroom & separate toilet. Upstairs there are 2 comfortably decorated bedrooms 1 double & 1 single. The cottage has an open fire, central heating, TV, towels and bed linen. In the kitchen there is a larder fridge, cooker, microwave and all utensils. There is plenty of parking space. Pets are welcome. |
